  • Harrison McKay's new website launches! It’s a new look for us, and more information for you. Be sure to check out our new FAQ section.
     
  • Full Colour Print Specials. To celebrate our launch, we’re offering our design clients unheard-of-pricing on premium (non-digital) printing services for full-colour bookmarks, business cards, and rack cards. Get four colour process printing (metal-plate printing, premium gloss stock with gloss varnish) for much less than you’d pay for the same quantities of digital printing (What’s the difference?). The special applies to four colour process printing plus gloss varnish on quality gloss card stock, for standard-sized bookmarks, business cards and rack cards. Please contact us for pricing!

  • December 2006 Holiday Office Closure. To give our staff some much-deserved time off, we will be closed from December 25th through January 1st. We will re-open on Tuesday, January 2nd. We’re letting our clients know now, so that we can plan accordingly for advertising placement, website updates, and other needs.

Domain Name Registration Renewal Notices.

Beware of “official” looking domain name renewal notices from the Domain Registry of Canada (DROC). DROC is engaging in a practice known as “slamming”, which attempts to secure domain name registration transfers from your current registrar. DROC sends out “renewal” notices, usually well in advance of domain expiry. The information is obtained through “whois” domain ownership look-ups.

DROC is an actual domain name registrar. If you pay the invoice, you are giving implied consent to transfer your domain registration from your current registrar to DROC. DROC’s prices are generally higher (in some cases, significantly higher) than most registrars.
