Applications for the 2007 Grant will be accepted beginning in September, 2007. Please watch this space for details.

Harrison McKay Communications will develop branding, a communications strategy, and a custom website for the winning organization, free of charge. The site will be developed according to the specifications provided by the applicant in the application. It also includes:
- Development of a logo and branding strategy;
- Consultation to plan the required content, and the strategy to achieve your goals;
- Consultation to integrate your new website into your overall communications plan;
- Development of a fully customized site that integrates your branding and communications strategy;
- Graphic design and photography;
- Editing written content that you will be asked to provide;
- Optimizing your site for search engines; and
- A PayPal-based donations system (PayPal fees are not included).
Also included:
- Registration of a domain name (yourname.com) for one year (fee included);
- One year of premium web hosting provided courtesy of Harrison McKay Web Hosting Solutions.
Your organization qualifies if it is…
- A registered charity or non-profit/not-for-profit organization. Examples include youth organizations, sports organizations, community service groups, and educational foundations.
- Based in a Columbia Valley community between Golden to the north, and Canal Flats to the south, and its primary service area is the Columbia Valley.
You may apply if you currently have a website, but the site is not achieving your organization’s goals.

Applications for the 2007 Grant are not yet available (Watch for announcement in September, 2007).

A small, impartial jury comprised of members outside of Harrison McKay Communications will review the applications and develop a short-list of three candidates, based on the information provided in the application. The jury will contact you if they have any questions before proceeding to the selection stage.
The jury will then select the winning organization, and the winner will be notified.
When will the winner be announced?
The winner of the 2007 Grant will be announced in September, 2007.
When will work start on the winning site?
Development of the site will begin on or before October 1, 2007.
