Website set-up and tools

  • I use trusted service providers to host this site, process payments, provide analytics, and store project files. These providers may process data outside Canada. I take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.

  • Analytics: Wix and Google Analytics.

  • File storage/collaboration: Dropbox or WeTransfer, as needed for client work.

Information I collect

Information you provide

  • Contact details submitted through forms: name, email, phone, and your message.

  • Subscription and billing details when you purchase a plan or Flex Hours (processed by payment providers; card details are not stored by me).

  • Members-area information needed to show your purchases and related content.

 

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data gathered by Wix and Google Analytics, such as pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location, device/browser information, and referral source.

Payment information

  • Payments are processed by Wix Payments for online payments. For invoices, by Interac e-Transfer or your chosen bank/transfer method. Card details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by me.

  • Pricing is in Canadian Dollars.

How I use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide services you request.

  • To set up and manage subscriptions, invoices, and support.

  • To design, produce, and deliver agreed creative/marketing work.

  • To send necessary service communications such as plan changes or billing notices.

  • To maintain security, troubleshoot, and improve the site and services.

Legal bases for processing

  • Performance of a contract (for example, delivering a plan or hour bundle you purchase).

  • Legitimate interests (for example, service improvement and security).

  • Legal obligations (for example, tax and accounting records).

Sharing your information

I only share strictly necessary personal information with service providers who help run the site and services, including Wix (hosting/platform), Wix Payments and banks (payments), Google (analytics), and Dropbox or WeTransfer (file storage/collaboration). These providers have their own privacy practices.

Data storage and transfers

Some service providers may store or process information on servers outside Canada, depending on their infrastructure. Where this occurs, reasonable safeguards are used to support comparable protection. If you have an in-house file sharing system, I can use that instead.

Retention

  • Enquiry form submissions: kept for up to 12 months if you do not become a client.

  • Client project files and records: kept for up to 3 years after a project or term ends, unless a longer period is required by law or agreed in writing.

  
I delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction: you can request a copy of your personal information and ask me to correct inaccuracies.

  • Deletion: you can ask me to delete information that is no longer required.

  • Cookies/browser controls: you can manage analytics cookies through your browser settings.
